Welcome to Northeast Health & Fitness! We are very excited to have you join our fitness family and are looking forward to providing you with the areas best health club facilities. We know you enjoyed your time at Brickwall and have many questions about the merger. Please take some time to review the information contained in this page as it will help answer many of the questions you may have.
We would like to thank the owners and staff of Brickwall Gym and Fitness Center for their efforts in putting together our merger. Collectively we believe merging and joining forces provides the best way to continue to offer members and the surrounding area a safe, state of the art fitness environment where everyone can continue on their fitness journey.
NEHF is a 40 year old, locally family owned group of south shore clubs. We are proud not to be affiliated with any large national chain and take pride in knowing our members by name and offering the cleanest, state of the art facilities in the area. We hope the following will help answer many of the questions you may have, so please take a moment to read through it. What happens with my membership?
Your membership has been merged and transferred to NEHF. There is nothing you need to do.
When can I start using NEHF?
Immediately – your membership is now fully active at all NEHF locations.
Can I still use my Brickwall key tag to check in?
Yes – your Brickwall key tag will be active and you may continue to use it. If you would prefer to change to a new key tag, we will be happy to assign you one.
Is NEHF far from Brickwall?
Not at all, NEHF is only 2 miles from the front door of Brickwall and a short 5 minute car ride.
What will my monthly rate be?
Your monthly rate will be $29.99 (which is a decrease for many of you). Your single monthly payment gives you access to all our current and future NEHF locations, group fitness classes, amenities etc. We encourage you to enjoy them all – at no extra cost.
Do I need to pay any enrollment or joining fee?
When will my billing begin?
Your billing will begin on December 1st and continue monthly on the first of each month.
What if I purchased a term (3 month, 6 month etc) membership and paid it in full at Brickwall?
Because we have merged with Brickwall, your term membership will be honored and expire the same date as it would have at Brickwall. You will lose zero membership time.
What will happen to the Brickwall staff and trainers?
We are currently meeting with staff and personal trainers of Brickwall with a goal of moving them over to NEHF. You will most likely find your favorite trainer has moved to NEHF!
What if I am not familiar with the equipment or how to continue with my current workout routine at NEHF?
We have an amazing training staff as well as exclusive rights to the Pro Fitness Program. Upon your first visit we will offer you a comprehensive “fitness consultation” followed by a session with one of our trainers. We are here to help your transition go smoothly and without interruption.
What about group fitness classes?
We are currently offering group fitness classes in all our locations using a reservation system. We also livestream many of our classes and have created a huge library of On-Demand classes for you to enjoy at anytime. Remember your membership includes ALL classes at ALL locations (typically over 120 per week). Please click here to be taken to our group fitness information page.
What are the rules with Covid and what precautions are in place?
Your safety is (and always has been) our top priority. Our rules and protocols have been designed to exceed the state guidelines. Please click here to be taken to our guidelines page.
Do I need a reservation just to use the gym and workout and is there a time limit?
Currently there are no time restrictions on your workout and you do not need a reservation to use the club. Your membership gives you complete access 7 days a week.
Are there capacity limits currently in place?
The state has set a limit of 50% of a buildings capacity for health clubs. However, our smallest location is 20,000 sq/ft and is never close to the new limits. There is plenty of space for social distancing at all times.
What are the hours of the club?
Currently all our locations are open from 5am – 9pm Monday thru Friday. Saturday 7am-6pm and Sunday 7am – noon. We are open 365 days a year.
Are there other amenities included with my membership?
The usual answer is yes. Our locations typically offer everything from steam rooms, saunas, showers, basketball etc…. We will begin offering these amenities again as soon as possible. (They are included with your membership!)
What if I have a friend that wants to join?

I heard NEHF has its own APP?
Yes, we have an APP! You can download it in your favorite APP store (it’s free). The APP is a great way to check group fitness schedules, club hours and be notified of any updates through our push notification system. Its a great way to stay connected to NEHF.
